Full Call for Posters (PDF)

CLIHC05 invites researchers, professors, students and professionals to submit their recent research in the form of posters. This will allow them to obtain valuable feedback from the participants and to establish important contacts for informal or formal collaboration. Technical Posters are to appear in the proceedings as one-page abstracts that describe ongoing research projects/systems or other technical information of potential interest to CLIHC participants. There will be a scheduled spotlight on posters within the conference breaks for discussion between the authors and the conference participants around the posters.

FINAL VERSION: instructions for the posters authors

1. Follow the reviewers suggestions.
2. Put the poster in the conference format:
   Download the template to format your submission (Word Doc file, 30Kb; RTF file, 18Kb).
   REMEMBER: poster submission is only ONE PAGE.
3. Send the final version no later than July 4th to (Word Doc and PDF file).

IMPORTANT: your poster will only be published and presented if it is in the conference format and in one page.

PRESENTATION: at the conference

1) There will be a scheduled spotlight on posters within the conference breaks for discussion between the authors and the conference participants around the posters.
2) The area available for each accepted poster at the conference will be 70 X 100 (width X height in cm).

IMPORTANT: you must bring your poster already printed to the conference.

About the Submission process
A technical poster may have one page contribution, presenting original and unpublished work. All submissions were written in English, Portuguese or Spanish, and were formatted according to the conference guidelines and templates. Contributions were sent as PDF file and submitted through the submission web site.

Review Criteria
The same reviewing standards and process for Papers were applied to Posters. Each submission was reviewed (blind review) on the basis of the validity and clarity of the results, the originality of the work, the quality of the written presentation, its contribution to the field of HCI in a wide perspective, and its conformity with the conference style standards.
